Card Makin Mama's Reuse/Recycle

Its another challenge at Card Makin Mama's and we are all about recycle and reuse.  I used the cover of a 6inch paper pad and cut it to bits to create a background and striped on my card front.  I used this same piece to create the hello sentiment with a metal die.  The acetate is reused from packaging.

Buttons, Bits and Baubles for Card Makin Mamas

www.cardmakinmamas.blogspot.com
Don't you love the challenge headers that Angie designed, I really think they jazz up our DT posts!
I had some fun with this card, I have started making my card bases and working from there, instead of colouring and image and then designing the card.  Both have their own individual drawbacks however.
I used a Kaiser paper pad my daughter had started cutting up for a timber project, so all the paper on this card is from her remnants.

I hope that the details are obvious, I can happily say I used my microbeads for the FIRST time since owning them.  Now keep in mind they have been in my house for over 2yrs and I really wasn't sure how to use them.  Well combined with very strong double sided strips, I simply rubbed them onto the tape that was previously applied to the circle die cut.  I did um and ahh about adding flowers which seem to be my desire of late but I refrained ... and I think im happy!

I layered up three of the BE diecuts that in the wonderful Kristina Werner's handwriting, and I love all of these dies, im patiently waiting for more to arrive from Simon Say Stamp (well not so patiently actually...)

I look forward to seeing what you create for our Buttons, Baubles and Bits challenge this fortnight at Card Makin Mama's, please head over to the challenge blog and link up your creations.
